Brandon Lewis, Field Director Capital Area Council effective June 1st.

It is with much pleasure that I can announce that Brandon Lewis will be assuming new duties as Field Director in the Capital Area Council beginning June 1st. Selfishly of course, I’m disappointed that we are loosing our District Director, but Brandon has certainly earned this promotion and I couldn’t be more pleased. Brandon and his family went to Austin today for a final interview. They remain in Austin for part of the weekend to get acquainted with the city. Brandon will be active with the North District for most of May. I’m sure we will have a couple of opportunities to wish him well. The first opportunity will be at our District Meeting on Tuesday the 6th. Please come to help us plan for our activities over the summer, get ready for Join Scout Night, and to congratulate Brandon. Thank you Brandon for all that you have done to help make the North District a success. Bill Bexley North District Chairman

 

2008/2009 Calendar Available at May Roundtables

 The 2008/2009 North District program calendar will be available at the Boy Scout and Cub Scout Roundtables on May 8th and 13th. This calendar will include major Circle 10 activities along with the North District Activities for the months beginning with September 2008 thru August 2009. We hope this calendar will allow you to plan your unit activities that will include participation in district events. You participation in Camporees, Training Events, Roundtables, and other activities is an opportunity to share activities that works for you and learn about activities that work well with other units. I hope to see you at Roundtable in May. Thanks, Bill Bexley North District Chairman.

Some computers have difficulty viewing the graphic heading and menu on this page. This is caused by settings in Norton Internet Security which think the graphics are ads. To correct the problem, open NIS and under the "Web Browsing" link, click on "Ad Blocking", then select "Configure Ad Blocking", click on "Advanced". Add www.northdistrict.org as a site in the left display box and then add the site and check "Permit" in the display box on the right. Click OK until the NIS windows close. The process is identical for NIS 2004 except that "Ad Blocking" is on the home menu. Sorry for the inconvienience.
