Talk with Scouts at the National Jamboree

Come talk to Scouts at the National Jamboree. The Metrocrest Amateur Radio Society, Crew 876 and North District will have an opportunity to talk using various amateur radio mode (voice, psk31, echolink, etc). At the National Jamboree, they will have a amateur radio station running 24 hours a day for the entire duration of the Jamboree.  We will set up a station locally here in the Carrollton area, that Scouts and Scouters can come down and use to talk first hand with Scouts and Scouters at the National Jamboree.

 

Where: Carrollton Fire Department Training Center

The former Fire Station next to Newman Smith High School, under the Water Tower.

When: Saturday July 31st, from 12pm to 6pm

Come for a few minutes, or stay the day. 

What to bring: Just yourself.
