District Training Committee Meeting

The District Training Committee is open to paid and volunteer Scouters in the North District. This committee works to provide opportunities for adult and youth training to ensure that the highest quality programs may be delivered consistently within BSA standards and that each scout has the benefit of well trained leaders.

District Committee Meeting

The District Committee Meeting occurs on the 1st Tuesday of each month unless other dates are specifically announced. All adult leaders and parents of scouts are invited. The meeting is held at the First Christian Church, Carrollton, Texas. Beginning in January 2009, the start time will be 7:00 pm.

Cub Scout Roundtable

Each month, North District Roundtable helps you with a program for Cub Scout Leaders that includes games, ceremonies, skits, songs, crafts and skills. The Roundtable staff lets you know of the latest information about district and council events. For the final half hour each month you’ll be going into breakout sessions designed for your specific job (Den Leader, Webelos Leader, Tiger Leader, Committee members and Cubmaster) which will be theme and topic related to provide specific ideas and answers. Whether you are a new leader or an experienced scouter, you will enjoy the fun and friendly atmosphere for the exchange of information and ideas.

Boy Scout Roundtable

Each month, North District Roundtable provides Scoutmasters, Assistant Scoutmasters, and Unit Committee Leaders information on how to deliver a quality program to their Scouts. Each month''s agenda includes topics on program helps, scout skills, and new ideas. Roundtable is the place to get the latest information on upcoming events. Come share your successes with other Boy Scout Leaders, get the answers to questions concerning your Troop''s programs from your district professionals, and the North District Committee. New leaders and experienced scouters will enjoy this fun atmosphere and the exchange of information and ideas.
