Circle 10 Religious Emblems Training Retreat

CALLING ALL SCOUTS & VENTURERS IN CIRCLE TEN COUNCIL

Boy Scouts and Venturers across Circle Ten Council are invited to a BSA Centennial religious emblems training event, ON THE WINGS OF EAGLES, to be held at Camp Wisdom, on Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday: February 26-28, 2010. This retreat is open to Scouts and Venturers of all denominations. Adult unit leaders and interested parents are cordially invited to participate in this retreat.
The purpose of this weekend event is to start Scouts in the 6th through 12th grades and beyond, as well as Venturers, on the way toward earning the religious emblem appropriate to their age group. Most Scouts complete at least half the program during this weekend and return to their home churches to complete the work. Accommodations will be made for both male and female participants.
The fee for the weekend includes meals served in the Dining Hall as well as the program materials (workbooks). Saturday classes for adults will focus on promoting and administering the Religious Emblems Program as well as the role of the Unit Chaplain.
