The National BSA office has released the official requirements for the 4 Historical Merit Badges which will only be available until 12/31/2010. All requirements must be completed between 04/01/2010 and 12/31/2010 in order to receive the Merit Badge, so you better get started on them now if you want to earn them. This is a once in a current Scout's lifetime to earn some of the badges that his dad/grandfather/uncle/granduncle/etc may have earned while he was in Scouts
